Commissions North Imagebank

Commissions North invites professional visual and applied artists based in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Tees Valley, with an interest in engaging with new public art opportunities, to join the Commissions North Imagebank.

The Imagebank is an internal resource used regularly by Commissions North and our clients to shortlist artists for new commission opportunities.

All applications are assessed by the Commissions North team against the following criteria:

• BA or MA (or equivalent) in a visual art subject
• Track record of exhibitions
• Experience of public art commissions
• Work of a high production quality
• Work which demonstrates innovative approaches and ideas
• Potential to be matched with commission opportunities in the North East.

• A short statement about your current practice and the areas you are interested in developing for future work.
• A full CV, with details of any previous commissioning experience.
• Digital images in high quality jpeg format (300dpi) on CD and/or other visual material (DVD, catalogues, etc).
• Image summary sheet, with titles, media, date and copyright information.
