
Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens is a landmark project for the development of the city and features the largest public art programme so far funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The Winter Gardens designed by Napper Architects features the contemporary 'Mowbray Gates', which link the Museum to Mowbray Gardens conceived by Sunderland born jewellery designer Wendy Ramshaw OBE.
