The South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust committed to a significant programme of artists commissions at an early stage within Middlesbroughís new PFI hospital, and together with architects HLM have delivered diverse commissions and an ongoing live arts programme, which highlight the therapeutic values of a well designed environment.
Artists Lee and Jill Brewster created a unique play table for the Paediatric Out Patients Unit as part of the hospital's Healing Arts Project.
