New Moon Rising
UK Land Estates ensured designs were incorporated early within the procurement process for their new Waterfront business park at Newburn Riverside.
Colin Wilbourn was commissioned to create a series of playful carvings and sculptures sited within a series of landscaped squares. The latest work 'New Moon Rising' was produced in collaboration with Sunderland University and the National Glass Centre where the 50kg blue glass moon was cast.
