Cumberland Infirmary
Cumbrian based painter Phil Morsman had never previously produced work to an architectural scale; yet his proposal for six nine-metre banners was selected by a panel of hospital staff to be the defining feature within the atrium of the vibrant new hospital.
The strength and scale of the 'River of Life' banners helps to create a positive and forward thinking atmosphere for patients, visitors and staff.
