Wolfgang Weileder’s ‘House-City’ explored the relationship between temporary and permanent architecture - investigating the boundaries of process, artwork and documentation. Constructed and demolished over three days, the time-based sculpture included various techniques and media, such as long-exposure photography and a time-lapse movie.
‘House-City’ was developed as part ‘Arena’, a Samling Foundation public art and mentoring project involving five artists and post-16 art students from schools across Tyne and Wear.
