Spectra-txt
Commissioned as part of Middlesbrough’s urban regeneration programme, Spectra-txt creates a new contemporary beacon within the town’s pedestrianised shopping district.
Using intelligent light systems and mobile phone technology the ten-metre high steel tower changes colour in response to text messages sent in by members of the public.
To change Spectra-txt’s colour yourself, text 07919 00 00 77 with your choice of colour command: blue; starvibe; XXX; pearl; boro; or chromapop.
