Project Blue: Nimbus Concertina
Blue River Design worked in partnership with Arts and Business and Commissions North to transform derelict railway gates at its Newcastle offices by inviting artists to use them as a showcase for experimental new artworks. The gates have now become an exciting venue for temporary public arts commissions.
'Nimbus Concertina' was created as a cloud-like sculpture to interacts with the structure of the gateway to Blue River’s studio's. It is the third work to be installed at Blue River Design.
