Grainger Town Project: Plaques
Commissioned as part of the 'Art for the Streets' project originated by the Grainger Town Partnership, Rupert Clamp has created an alternative take on the commemorative plaques that celebrate the city’s heritage and historical figures.
The four plaques have been installed in the Grainger Town area with the aim to celebrate ordinary people and everyday events which have had an equally important part to play in the history and vitality of the city.
