As part of the regeneration of North Tyneside's Fish Quay, Northern Print Studio commissioned a series of temporary public artworks.
'Second Dogwatch' was created using hundreds of water-activated lights normally used on life jackets. These were placed on the beach at low tide. As the tide came in, the lights were switched on. Gradually the beach became littered with pinpoints of light, which ebbed and flowed with the water.
