Particle/Wave Theory/2
When the Reg Vardy Gallery in Sunderland hosted ‘Knew Urk’, Jimmie Durham’s first UK solo exhibition in eleven years, it initiated ‘Particle/Wave Theory #2’ as part of its off-site programme. The work was sited in the river Wear at South Hylton.
The exhibition and commission were organised in partnership with the Walter Phillips Gallery, The Banff Centre, Canada.
