Bigg Market Gates
Grainger Town Project and Commercial Development Projects Ltd jointly commissioned the Bigg Market gates both as security measure and as a piece of high quality urban design, that could reflect the features of the surrounding buildings, as well as celebrate Newcastle's history of heavy metal working.
In 2005 the completed design won the prestigious TonyPandy award, which recognises outstanding work in Blacksmithing.
