
Commissioned as part of City and Northern’s Morton Palms office development in responce to the location, history and economic progression of the region.
The sculpture takes its title from the sites ordinance survey reference point. To create the work the artist has drawn inspiration from both past and present industrial achievements.
The use of Corten steel for the sculptures lower section refers to the regions past, whilst the upper stainless steel section is representative of present day, with its surface taking on the vibrancy and activity of the sites new surrounding landscape.
