
Sculpture in the Park is an initiative by Durham County Council and Commissions North to engage new audiences in contemporary sculpture. The annual shows sited in the grounds of the Council offices and DLI Museum at Aykley Heads in Durhan City started in 2003.
The 2005 exhibition brought together artists who had taken part in 25 years of the British Art Show, including this projection piece '60 Minutes of Silence' by Gillian Wearing.
