'Farewell' comprises of ninety eight cast aluminum birds attached to the stone gabion wall of the landmark Cutter building at Woodhorn. It acts as a contemporary and poignant memorial to the ninety eight miners who are recorded as having lost their lives at the Woodhorn Colliery,
