Walkergate Park Hospital: Aurora
Walkergate Park is one of the most advanced units of its kind in Europe. It offers comprehensive, highly specialist services for people with neurological conditions, such as head injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, dystonia and motor neurone disease.
Aurora is made up of layers of three primary colours and shiny reflective disks suspended in the triple height space within the main reception hall. These floating colours aim to create a quality of light and gentle movement merging into more complex shades and densities of colour when viewed from various directions.
