Within Sustrans' work to create a national cycle network, artists have been commissioned to make sculpture, landmarks, earthworks, seats and stiles.
The C2C cycle route from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Sunderland on Wearside is home to a series of sculptures, which punctuate the landscape.
